  3.   By default the installer sets up the following directory tree -
  4.

  14.   If these defaults are not suitable for your own system and requirements
  15.   the installer will allow you to change them.
  16.  
  17.   Created in the SM directory are batch files to start See Mail, and to load
  18.   the memory resident MCI Mail access program. You will be asked if you are
  19.   using MCI Mail, LAN Mail, or both, and the program then adjusts to match.

  21.   You will need about 1.5mb of free disk space to install the complete
  22.   system and all the documentation and tools.

  25.   If you have an existing mail system, (such as Lotus Express, or Mail Clerk)
  26.   you can optionally get See Mail to automatically read the old mail files.

  28.   For other mail systems you can specify where the mail is located by
  29.   giving the directory parameters See Mail should use to find them.

  31.   For MCI Mail you will need to know your account details, and also the
  32.   modem hardware and telephone numbers for dialing MCI.  Once this all
  33.   works correctly, you can then load the resident background mailer.

  35.   For LAN system administrators, detailed instructions are given later
  36.   for establishing the LAN mail system, and configuring users. You
  37.   should install See Mail to your own PC, then configure it and copy it
  38.   to the shared LAN system once this is correct.

  40.   If you are UPDATING from a previous version of See Mail the installer
  41.   will sense this and only update the new files, without the need for
  42.   a complete re-install and re-configuring.
